Hoopla will give you the ability to check out a variety of e-books, audiobooks, movies, TV shows, and music with no holds and no waiting. WSPL cardholders will be able to enjoy 3 downloads per month to enjoy on their computer, tablet, or phone – or even your TV! Titles can be streamed immediately, or downloaded for offline enjoyment later. Content can be accessed through the website, via the Hoopla app in the Apple or Google Play stores, or on your Roku, Fire TV, or Amazon Alexa devices.

If you are an existing Hoopla user, you may have noticed that we recently downgraded from 6 to 3 downloads per person per month, we hope that this is a temporary measure. Hoopla has a pay-per-use model, the more popular the service is, the more costly it is for the library to maintain each month. While we love seeing the usage and enjoyment of library resources, our only equitable cost control option at present is to drop the total number of borrows per person per month to sustain our current budget. We are actively working with other libraries across the country with Hoopla for improved budgeting alternatives. We appreciate your understanding as we make this fiscally responsible decision.
