We have a variety of free programs on a monthly basis at the library.

They are appropriate for a variety of age ranges so please look to see which programs might work for your child.

Lego (ages 5-8 and 9-12)

Kids Create (ages 6-12)

Recommended for kids ages 6 - 12 with some adult supervision

Wednesday, June 10th

Kits available starting at 9 a.m. while supplies last 

Drop by for the bags containing the materials and instructions

Arts and Science Rocks! (ages 9-12)

"Summer Storytime"  (For 0-5 year olds)

Thursdays 10:00 am - 10:45 am,  June 25th, July 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30

Stories, Songs and Playtime or Craft.  A parent or caretaker must attend and participate in each session.

Registration required. Register by calling the Youth Room, 736-4561 x4, or by registering in person.

Registration begins on Friday, May 15th for West Springfield Residents and on Monday, May 18th for All Others.

Take It & Make It Crafts (ages 2-5)

Pajama Storytime (ages 0-5)

Monday, June 22nd, 6:00 - 6:45pm.
Wear your jammies and bring your favorite "stuffy" to 45 minutes of fun stories, music and a craft.

Graphic Novel Book Club (ages 8-12)

Tuesday, May 26th, 4:00 - 4:30 pm.

We will be on break for the Summer Reading activities, look for us again in the Fall!

Join the fun with our Graphic Novel book club, for ages 8-12.  Come and talk about your favorite graphic novel, enjoy a snack, and get ready to read a new book!  Don't forget your library card!
