An Evening with Former Massachusetts State Senator Linda Melconian

Join us in welcoming Former Massachusetts State Senator, Linda Melconian, as she discusses her latest book about Ella Grasso titled “Ella Grasso: The First of the Firsts”. The first Italian Woman Governor of Connecticut was a friend and mentor to Melconian who helped shape her career.

Signed copies of “Ella Grasso: The First of the Firsts” will be available for purchase at the event.  All proceeds from the sale of books will go to the Friends of WSPL for future library programming.

We look forward to a night of lively conversation, inspiration, civic motivation and a reading by the author herself.
